Maybelline – A Story of Hope

Maybelline is a 12-year-old Buckskin Quarter Horse. She was left on a hillside without proper care, she arrived with severely overgrown hooves, a large umbilical hernia, and deep fear of trailers. Thanks to surgery, expert farrier work, and gentle retraining, Maybelline has made an incredible recovery. Her hooves are now healthy, her hernia is repaired, and she has grown much more confident loading into trailers. Sweet-natured and deeply resilient, Maybelline is now the beloved "Queen" of her herd. She is currently with a professional trainer, starting under saddle, and showing great promise as a future riding partner.

Rescued from a Tennessee kill pen, he has dedicated his golden years to nurturing and protecting the younger horses in our care. Casper lives with Cushing’s disease, showing minimal symptoms beyond a shaggy coat, which is managed through regular clipping. His spirit remains strong and his kindness unmatched—there simply aren't many as gentle and wise as Casper.
